I recently heard a famous actress comment that she expected everything to go downhill from her 40th. Which made me so sad. Because if someone who in the eyes of many has everything you could ever dream of thinks this we mere mortals are done for, right?
I also know how false this belief is, and as a blooming 51 year old am living proof that it can be so different.
WE ARE NOT OVER ANY KIND OF HILL AFTER 40, LET ALONE A SPIRITUAL ONE!
If you think you are doomed to spent the second half of your life being invisible in trainers watching Netflix all day, while youngsters steal the spiritual show, I am here to burst that ridiculous bubble!
This isn't the moment to shrink, but the time to quantum leap and bloom again. Why? Because the world needs us more than ever, and we have so much to offer.

This journey is not about the (peri)menopause, or about growing older. It's about Joy. Your Joy. About celebrating beauty, that of yourself and that of life. But above all it's a journey to reclaiming your authentic power and full (spiritual) potential.
In my country of birth Surinam, as well as many other traditional communities the world over, older women are respected and honoured for their wisdom, power, radiance and beauty.

Good question. Especially when so much in your life is changing. Your body, your life circumstances and, unfortunately for some of us, also your sense of self worth and self love.

Who am I and what do I know about JOY?
My name is Daniëlle van den Stoom and both my spiritual and earthly life truly began to bloom after forty. People-pleasing was out. Living fully guided by my soul was 100% in. I came out of the lightworker’s closet as a Tarot Reader & Crystal Healer and supported thousands of women through profound life changes.
But my biggest spiritual quantum leap to date came at fifty. After a year filled with heartbreaks and disappointments, I left for Curaçao, broken, and spent three months reinventing myself from the inside out.
On this beautiful island, I discovered the immense power of healing through JOY. I swam, played, celebrated life with old and new friends, and made a conscious choice to always surround myself with beauty.
By the time I returned to Europe, I was a changed woman. I felt more radiant and magnetic than ever. Now I help women reinvent themselves from the inside out in the second half of their lives.
